Cielens+Wark (Chuck Wark director) was principal landscape architect to the Enfield General Cemetery Trust for eleven years from 1984 to 1994.  During this period, we developed and revisited numerous times the overall master-plan for the complete redevelopment of the existing lawn cemetery and extension into as yet undeveloped adjoining areas.

Planning, design and construction projects over this time included street and other tree planning, assessment of stormwater management and proposing storage options, detail cremation gardens with water element and a ‘floating’ memorial book building (CV >$1.3M), design of a master irrigation system for entire cemetery grounds (CV >$515,000) and other detail projects of varying scales and complexity.
