Caulfield Racecourse

In 2000, the Melbourne Racing Club engaged Ground Control to provide landscape master planning and detailed design services for the improvement of the 17 hectare internal reserve bounded by the course proper and associated/adjoining tracks.

Specific works involved the creation of self-sufficient water storage for irrigation purposes, design of lakes, drainage and wetlands areas, general planting, specialist hedging and car park areas to best suit vision from grandstand and main viewing areas, pedestrian boulevards and a lake-edge promenade, irrigation systems and other detail landscape treatments.
